// A good Packaging Design

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

I got this perfume, and I’m impressed with the idea & concept of its packaging. I never seen any other brands who comes up like this. Their Slogan “Fuel For Life” is nice as well; somehow it implies the meaning that people should fueled up their body with Diesel perfume before they start doing any activities.

I didn’t mean to advertise this product, but I just wanna say that this is a good sample of successful Branding, Advertising and Packaging Design. It’s quite inspiring..

(Note: All shots taken by me personally & not intended for commercial use).

// A long absence

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

It’s been a while I haven’t post any stuff. A lot of things done actually this month for my design & photography works, I was really busy & I didn’t have time to write post. I’m gonna post some of my works done in July very soon.

Anyway, I’ve just had a short trip for 2 days 1 night to Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. I didn’t shot a lot of pics though, just a bit, mostly people on the streets, I’m just kinda bored of temples and that stuff;p

When I walked around the market, nearby the River Kwai bridge, I saw this innocent kid played around with his friends, (’hide & seek’ probably) & I got a really nice shot of him. I just love the expression on his face..

// A reminder

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Most of the time I always forgot to switch the IS (Image Stabilization) off when I attached my camera on my tripod, (probably it because I got too excited when I’m taking pictures). I own Canon EF 28-135mm f/’inconsistent’ IS, and I should turn the IS off every time I shoot with tripod. Unlike the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 & f/2.8 L IS that will disable the IS automatically when you use tripod. Well.. I can’t afford those lenses at the moment;p

So, I decided to put a reminder on my tripod head to save my life in the future.

The similar case is just like when you wanna start composing picture with your camera but you don’t see anything in the view finder, then you just realized that you haven’t take off the lens cap yet from your lens.. ahh…that’s why..

// The best part of the day

Friday, July 11th, 2008

I joined “Thai Flickr Meet” on last Saturday (05/07/08). The trip began at the Siam museum, (I know it sounds bored..) but it was a nice a place though, the architecture is kinda old school, but the inside is really cool & modern. Then inside there I saw a photo shooting for a model, the model was really cute and I took a quick snap of her. So, I guess my favorite pics of the whole day are her pic:
